I have a 55 gallon community tank that is heavily planted and has lots of malaysian trumpet snails. I want to keep the plants and snails alive, but recently noticed that a couple of my tetras have a few spots of ick on them. does anyone know of a medicine I can use or have any other advice?

Plymouth asked:

I mean if I already use the “white spot” medicine in the aquarium, can I use other kind of medicine for example “gill parasite” medicine in the same aquarium without changing the water? Or do I have to change the water first to use the medicine.

Because I found out it wasn’t a white spot disease or itch on my fish, it was a gill disease, so I need to treat it with gill medicine.

Please help!
And yes the color of the white spot medicine is dark blue, while the color of the gill medicine is dark red. Will it be bad if they mix together?

P.S I used the white spot medicine yesterday, and the water turn clear again.
