I think bands should play music as long as they like what they’re doing. If the spark is gone, the spark is gone. But in the case of Metallica, their spark isnt gone for them at least. I don’t like they’re new **** either, meaning from the black album until now but as long as they keep on keepin on good for them. How many good bands from back then that were better than them never made it?

Well,I listened to Nu metal,alternative metal and stuff in the beginning,i liked the groove sound,riffs…but,then I realised that almost all subgenres that appeared after 1994 are ****…Honestly,i can’t listen to music that is technically poor,doesn’t have solos,has some non-sence lyrics…Trust me ,stop listening to new stuff

correction: if it wasnt for Metallica there would have never been Thrash Metal, and Pantera are some kind of fusion between Thrash and Hair Metal. Heavy Metal bands such as Iron Maiden where around before Metallica.
